Johanna Imwalle is the founder of Swim Pro Long Island LTD. She has over 27 years of experience as a certified American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor and Lifeguard including working for the Town of Riverhead. Johanna knows first-hand how important water safety and swimming is for children and parents.
She knows how to meet the unique needs of each swimmer regardless of age, ability, and learning needs. Johanna brings instructional games to assist with learning swimming skills. She strongly believes that everyone can learn, by creating lessons based on each individual's unique requirements.
Johanna has a Bachelor's Degree in Recreation and a Master’s Degree in Physical Education. Johanna teaches students Pre-K through grade 12. Johanna has seen her students go from fearing the water to loving the water, some have even become Water Safety Instructors and Lifeguards at Swim Pro Long Island. She loves seeing the sparkle in children's eyes when they are swimming.

Madison Santoro is a certified American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor with 8 years of teaching swimming and 9 years of life-guarding experience including working for the Town of Riverhead.
Madison is an outgoing and friendly person.
As an instructor, she is nurturing and patient but stern when needed. She will encourage new swimmers to have fun while learning new skills so that they can reach their goals in a safe, supportive environment. Madison is passionate about swimming because she knows it’s a very important life skill.

Cristina believes that everyone should know how to swim and feel safe in the water. She strives to make this a fun, positive experience including games and challenges to keep swimmers engaged while learning.
Cristina loves to help people become stronger and more aware swimmers.

Julie Imwalle grew up around the water. She learned to swim at the age of 2 in the Long Island Sound. At the age of 5, Julie began competitive swimming. After a few years, she joined the Long Island Synchronized Swim team, where she competed for 2 years. In high school, Julie joined her high school swim team.
Growing up on the water led her to become a certified lifeguard at the age of 16. Following in her mother's and sister's footsteps, Julie pursued a career that would lead her to work in schools.
She obtained a bachelor's degree from St. Joseph's College in Speech Communications and a Masters's degree in Early Childhood Special Education through Adelphi University.
Julie currently works with preschool students with disabilities and their families as a Chairperson in the Sachem Central School District and as an IEP Coordinator at Alternatives for Children. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and cooking.

Nicholas Agresta is a third year American Red Cross certified lifeguard who works as a pool Lifeguard for the Town of Islip. When he is not working at Swim Pro Long Island, he is usually scanning the pool at Roberto Clemente Park.
Nick is a graduate from East Islip High School where he was a three sport athlete, excelling in Football, Wrestling and Lacrosse.
Nick is currently a sophomore in college at Wingate University, studying history and secondary education. Nick is also a Defensemen on his college's Lacrosse team. Nick plans to become a history teacher and coach lacrosse after graduating; pursuing his love of history and sports.
When Nick is not at the pool or lacrosse field , you can find him watching his younger brother surfing at Robert Moses.

Kaitlyn Reingold is an accomplished honors student who has always been passionate about swimming. She has been swimming since she was a young child and has never lost her love for being in the water. As an American Red Cross Certified Lifeguard, Kaitlyn ensures that others can safely enjoy the water too.
In addition to her aquatic pursuits, Kaitlyn is an active member of her competitive dance team, where she can showcase her passion for dancing. Kaitlyn also participates in competitive cheerleading with her school team and enjoys the physical and mental discipline that the sport demands.
Despite her busy schedule, Kaitlyn still finds time for her other passion: working with children. She loves babysitting and has a natural gift for engaging with kids of all ages. Whether it's playing games, telling stories, or helping with homework, Kaitlyn is always happy to spend time with children and make a positive impact in their lives.
Kaitlyn is a driven and dedicated individual who balances her many interests with her academic pursuits. She excels in her honors classes and is committed to achieving her goals. Whever Kaitlyn is, she always brings her best effort and positive attitude.

Richard Brzozinski, is a dedicated Lifeguard Lieutenant with over 30 years of ocean lifeguarding experience including working for the Town of Oyster Bay. Rick has thousands of hours in the stand, over 200 water rescues and multiple CPR/AED saves.
Rick has worked his way up from a rookie lifeguard to scheduling and overseeing over 90 lifeguards on the bay and ocean at TOBAY. Rick has gained the respect of his lifeguard and beach patrons with his outgoing personality. Water safety is number one for Rick as he has seen more than the average person in and around the water.
He graduated from Virginia in 1991 with a Business Administration degree and was an All American wrestler. After working on Wall Street, Ricky knew he missed the beach in the summer as well as the wrestling mat. Rick went back to college to get his Masters Degree at Dowling University in secondary education. Rick is a History teacher, girls varsity soccer coach and wrestling coach at Central Islip High School.
